OUR PROCESSES

Selection

First, we carefully hand-select each hair strand for its natural shine, strength and silky feel.

Enlightenment
We then lighten our hair by hand in our small family-developed lightening baths that can take up to 40 days per color; completely without bleaching. This allows us to achieve crisp light tones without any discoloration, dryness or hair breakage.

Pigmentation

This is followed by a gentle pigmentation process where we carefully add the desired pigments over a long period of time to achieve a natural, creamy and long-lasting color. This way we can alternate the hair color without ever bleaching or damaging the hair.

OUR TAPES

Mounts:

Our attachments are soft, flexible and durable, and they mold to your head. They are also super light and thin, specifically designed for fine, fragile hair.

Tapes:

The tapes are of the highest quality and free of stickiness and adhesives, making turnover quick, easy and gentle.

ORIGIN

Most of our hair comes from salons in Europe. With European hair we specialize in blonde shades. We have an exclusive range of over 20 blonde shades and most are in looped extensions.

In darker colors we also use exceptionally soft and shiny Temple hair from India.

We have over 35 colors and endless possibilities of color combinations thanks to our looped attachments and dark roots.

DESIGN

Our hair is celebrated around the world for its unique character, feel and comfort thanks to our handmade gentle processes and careful selection of silky hair strands.

Our hair is designed to protect your hair while providing length, volume and dimension and blending naturally without being visible or felt.

Our attachments are ultra-thin and flexible and do not stick when handled, making them gentle on your own hair.

Our hair extensions shape themselves after your own hair, so many of our customers find that they don't need to style their hair as much, which saves on their own quality.

DOUBLE DRAWN

Richy Hair is always Double Drawn.

This means you get both longer and fuller results with each attachment. Simply put, more hair for your money.

We select out shorter hairs and always choose more of the longer hairs in each attachment for a naturally full result all the way down.

If you invest in 40cm of hair, the hair will be full down to 40cm with an extra 6-7cm of free cutting length (total 47cm).

REMY HAIR

Richy Hair is guaranteed Remy!

This means that all of our hairs (just like our own natural hair) lie in the same direction.

This is super important to avoid tangles. Our hair always comes from braids where all the strands naturally lie in the same direction. We never use hair from old brushes or floors where the strands lie in the opposite direction.

Why is it important?

When the hair is upside down (non-Remy), the cuticles of the hair hook into each other like "zipper locks", which creates tangles and tangles in the neck and on the lengths. Especially when the hair is damp or if you get hot in the neck.

COLORING HAIR EXTENSIONS

Our hair is unbleached so a certified Richy stylist can tailor our hair extensions completely according to the customer's wishes. Hair extensions can be tinted warmer, cooler and darker with standard hairdressing products.

This provides a more harmonious result with the client's own hair and a much faster and more efficient process.
